4th of July Weekend

We spent 4th of July weekend at a campground on the Frying Pan river with our friend Jim, his daughter Teagan, and Diane and Dan Thornton (Kate's high school friend who recently moved to Boulder) and their kids Stella and Sean. 5 adults, 5 kids - (4 mths, 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 5 1/2, and 8)+ 2 large dogs made for quite the crew!

Elli at soccer camp

Elli (lower left) has just spent a rather hot week at soccer camp. She has become a bit obsessed with it, playing morning and afternoon and trying to get the dog to play goalkeeper.

Fiona's Pictures from England

Fiona and Pete went to England in May. The first three pictures are of North Kelsey, Grandmother's cottage. The last one is of the memory garden where Grandmother Moore's ashes were scattered. It is the same place that Grandfather Moore's ashes were scattered.

Dad Receives Award from City Council

On Tuesday, the St. Regis Park City Council thanked Dad for his years of service on the Council. He received the award from the mayor.

Father's Day 2008

For Father's Day, we visited the Fire History Museum. The firetruck in the pictures would have been the same type as Dad's grandfather would have ridden on when he was a fireman. Originally, the truck was pulled by horses. George Washington Albert, our great grandfather was a fireman for 34 years in Louisville.
